Llyn Gwynant is a small glacial lake on the River Glaslyn in the Nant Gwynant valley, about 3 km from Snowdon, and the view over the lake towards Moel Hebog is one of the most photographed in Eryri. The A498 runs along its bank, so getting to the water is easy. Canoes and kayaks share the lake, so wear a bright cap and stay close to the shore.
