Ponce de Leon Springs State Park
Ponce de Leon Springs pushes about 14 million gallons a day into a spring pool that holds a brisk 68°F all year, then flows down its run to meet the tea-colored water of Sandy Creek. It is a place for cooling off and easy laps rather than distance. Warm weekends bring crowds and capacity closures, and when the ranger station is unstaffed you pay at the honor box with correct change.

- Park at 2860 Ponce de Leon Springs Road, open 8 a.m. until sunset, 365 days a year. Entry is $4 per vehicle (up to eight people) and $2 for pedestrians, cyclists and extra passengers; use the honor box with correct change when the ranger station is unattended.
