Hathersage Swimming Pool
A 30-metre heated open-air pool in the Peak District village of Hathersage, opened in 1936 and still with its bandstand and veranda beside the water. It keeps a summer and a winter timetable, so regulars swim here through the whole year, with Stanage Edge and the moors above the village. Book summer sessions online, as walk-in entry depends on what is left.

- Getting in
- Open year round on summer (April–October) and winter (November–March) timetables. In summer, lane swims and public swims are booked online, with door entry only if capacity remains; a few sessions are for season-pass holders only.
- Parking & transport
- Small free car park on site, with a pay and display car park opposite if it is full. Hathersage is reachable by train or road from Sheffield and Manchester.

- Home to Hathersage District Swim Club; the pool runs monthly night swims to live music and a 24-hour midsummer opening. It was given to the village by Sheffield razor-blade maker George Herbert Lawrence and opened on 25 July 1936, and is owned by King George's Field Trust and run by Hathersage Parish Council.
