Praia da Aroeira

An expansive ocean beach south of Lisbon with moderate Atlantic waves and sandy bottom, best for intermediate swimmers. The beach can get busy in summer but offers excellent facilities and is backed by pine forests. Enter gradually as the bottom slopes steadily and can have shifting sandbars.
