A northern Rio de Janeiro coastal beach with warm Atlantic water and underdeveloped character in a scenic location. Best for intermediate swimmers comfortable with variable conditions and limited facilities typical of less-developed coastal areas. The natural setting and warm water compensate for the lack of urban infrastructure.
