Itapuama is a refreshing Atlantic beach in Pernambuco with warm water and reef-protected conditions ideal for beginner to intermediate swimmers. The reefs create natural breakwaters reducing swell, though rocky areas require foot protection. Snorkeling among the reef systems is excellent with abundant tropical fish.
